Two charged with meth trafficking in Hopkinsville

Two people were arrested by the Hopkinsville Police Department Wednesday on charges with methamphetamine trafficking. According to a news release, HPD’s Crime Suppression Unit and patrol units conducted an investigation that resulted in a search warrant issued for a residence on West Edmunds Street. Motorcyclist killed in crash on Providence Boulevard in Clarksville

The Clarksville Police Department is investigating after a motorcyclist was killed in a crash on Providence Boulevard just after midnight.  The single-vehicle crash happened at 12:05 a.m. Friday, according to a news release, in the 600 block of Providence Boulevard in the area of E Street and Oak Street. Caldwell Co. Water District to replace failing water meters in big project

The Caldwell County Water District is set to replace roughly 500 water meters in a large project that will take place over the next three months.  The replacement of those comes due to failed or poor performing water meters, and Superintendent Cody Kirby reports the water district currently has 2,212 water meters in the ground serving nearly 6,000 customers in Caldwell County.  Of those, 42 percent are underperforming for accurate […]
