Todd County law enforcement arrest woman for drug trafficking

Law enforcement with the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force, Guthrie Police Department and Todd County Sheriff’s Department investigated and arrested 47-year-old Sammie Drown of Guthrie for drug trafficking following a traffic stop on Thursday.

According to a report, Drown was pulled over by Guthrie Police Officer, Tyler Honeycutt and was found to be in possession of suspected fentanyl. Drown allegedly brought the suspected fentanyl from Clarksville.

Drown was charged with careless driving, failure to notify an address change to the department of transportation, trafficking in a controlled substance, importing fentanyl or carfentanil derivatives and failure to maintain required insurance.
