The Kentucky High School Baseball Coaches Association released their latest 2nd Region baseball on March 26th. Three teams from the 8th district made the list to include Hopkinsville which topped the list. Hopkinsville Lyon Co. Caldwell Co. Henderson Co. Christian Co. University Heights Union Co. Trigg Co. Clarksville woman arrested for alleged assault of medical staff

Officers from the Hopkinsville Police Department arrested 44-year-old Kathleen Webster of Clarksville after she reportedly assaulted medical staff on Tuesday. According to a report from police, officers responded to the emergency room at Jennie Stuart Medical Center after Webster attempted to bite and kick medical staff. Webster also reportedly pulled out her I.V. and threw blood on medical staff. Webster was charged with third-degree assault of EMS and fourth-degree assault.

Rogers officially named Visit Hopkinsville Executive Director

It’s official—Amy Rogers has been named the new executive director of the Hopkinsville-Christian County Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, removing the interim tag.  According to a news release, the Board of the Directors has also announced that Ginnie Pruitt has been promoted to Finance and Operations Manager. Hopkinsville Police investigate vehicle, equipment theft

Officers from the Hopkinsville Police Department are investigating the reported theft of a pickup truck, tractor trailer and construction equipment at a location along Cherokee Trace Boulevard. The theft was reported on Tuesday and is said to have occurred between March 25 and March 26 according to a report from police. Two injured, one flown in Old Madisonville Road crash
