One person was injured in a single-vehicle crash on North Jessup Avenue Friday night. According to the Hopkinsville Police Department collision report, it happened around 10:30 p.m. when the brakes in the vehicle being driven by 31-year-old Deaudry Civils of Hopkinsville reportedly failed. A Hopkinsville woman is facing a second-degree assault charge after investigation into an attack on a victim on July 19.
