HPD investigating shots fired on Cayce Avenue

The Hopkinsville Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Cayce Avenue Saturday afternoon. According to the police report, the incident occurred around 12:30 p.m. in the 300 block of Cayce Avenue, when a suspect reportedly pointed a firearm at the victim while sitting in a vehicle in front of the victim’s home. Dan Goble honored with reception after induction into the KHSAA Hall of Fame

Colonel Head Football Coach Dan Goble who was inducted into The KHSAA Hall of Fame in April in Lexington. Goble won 2 State Championships at Christian Co. 1982 and 1984. Defense bill passes U.S. Senate, includes funding for Fort Campbell

A Defense Bill has passed the United States Senate and Fort Campbell is set to receive a good portion of funding from the bill for construction for several projects. One hurt in North Jessup Avenue crash

One person was injured in a single-vehicle crash on North Jessup Avenue Friday night. According to the Hopkinsville Police Department collision report, it happened around 10:30 p.m. when the brakes in the vehicle being driven by 31-year-old Deaudry Civils of Hopkinsville reportedly failed. A Hopkinsville woman is facing a second-degree assault charge after investigation into an attack on a victim on July 19. According to the arrest warrant served against 41-year-old Rona Curlin of Hopkinsville, she is alleged to have assaulted a victim, along with four unidentified male suspects.
