Three hurt in East Ninth Street collision

Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on East Ninth Street in Hopkinsville Tuesday afternoon. Go Madisonville Transit to end operations on July 1

The City of Madisonville will be ending their public transportation service—called Go Madisonville—in July. According to a news release, Pennyrile Allied Community Services Transportation and the City of Madisonville have mutually agreed to cease the operations of Go Madisonville Transit on July 1.  Go Madisonville has been providing public transportation services since 2017, but officials say due to low ridership, the program is no longer sustainable. Warmer temperatures, isolated thunderstorms possible this week

It’s going to get warmer this week, with isolated thunderstorms possible across the area for the next several days. A pair of small earthquakes just west of Calhoun in McLean County were felt by more than a few people in that area of western Kentucky.
