A stolen van was recovered early Monday morning in Madisonville and the driver was arrested. A Madisonville police officer saw a red 1999 Chevy Venture that had been reported stolen at the Ideal gas station on East Center Street about 3 a.m. and a computer check revealed it was the correct vehicle. A Trigg County woman is charged with drug trafficking after she was arrested over the weekend at a traffic safety checkpoint in Lyon County. A single-vehicle accident Wednesday in Lyon County sent the driver to the hospital. The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office investigated and determined 69-year old Paul Story of Kuttawa had been westbound on Old Kuttawa Road when a mechanical issue left him unable to steer his vehicle. Kentucky State Police are asking for the public’s help to locate a Graves County man wanted on child abuse charges. A news release says 35-year old Ryan Redmon of Fancy Farm is sought on an indictment warrant for criminal abuse and sexual abuse in the first-degree.
