After a runner-up finish in the 300m hurdles last season, UHA's Connor Dill used a time of 39.88 to win The Class A 300m hurdle State Championship Thursday in Lexington. A contractor plans to address pavement deficiencies on I-69 in Hopkins County beginning Monday. According to a news release, the work will take place between mile marker 95 to mile marker 105, a distance of approximately nine miles. The work zone is between Morton's Gap and Dawson Springs and is scheduled to be completed in the fall. Drivers should anticipate lane restrictions throughout these improvements. Christian County High School's Autumn Bell is a State Champion in the Triple Jump. Bell set a new school record with a jump of 37 feet 6 and 3/4 inches in winning the State Championship. Bell placed 7th in both the Long Jump and 200 Meter Dash.
