Kentucky State Police have released additional information on a fatal vehicle versus pedestrian accident from Sunday afternoon on US 79 near Allensville in Todd County.
A news release says a semi driven by Alexander Fritton was headed north when 33-year old Justin Lambert of Bowling Green walked into the roadway holding a metal chair.
Fritton had slowed to nearly a stop when Lambert struck the side of the semi several times with the chair, before being caught in the drive wheels and pulled under the vehicle.
Lambert was pronounced dead at the scene by Todd County Deputy Coroner Mike Tino-Cunniffe.
The Todd County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
