Woman flown to Skyline after Greenville Road crash

A single-vehicle rollover accident Friday afternoon on Greenville Road sent a woman to a Nashville hospital. It happened about 3:30 p.m. near the 10000 block of Greenville Road and Hopkinville Fire and EMS Public Information Officer Payton Rogers says the woman was flown by Air Evac to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville. The Christian County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.

Foot pursuit ends with arrest of Hopkinsville man

A traffic stop on Fort Campbell Boulevard Friday afternoon led to a foot pursuit and eventual arrest of a local man on multiple felony charges. Hopkinsville police stopped 40-year old Douglas Dotson of Hopkinsville for having the wrong license plate displayed and an arrest citation says he stopped at the Finish Line Car Wash and then fled from the vehicle on foot. Positivity rate falls below 10 percent in Kentucky

The COVID-19 positivity rate has dropped back down into the single digits, as Governor Andy Beshear reported 4,118 new cases Friday. According to the daily update, which shows that just over 1,000 of those new cases were individuals under the age of 18—the positivity rate dropped down to 9.67 percent and Todd County is now listed as ‘orange’ on the COVID-19 state incidence rate map.  Christian, Trigg and other surrounding […]

Kentucky National Guard members to begin assisting Jennie Stuart Medical Center

Members of the Kentucky National Guard are deploying to Jennie Stuart Medical Center to help provide non-clinical assistance as they navigate through a surge of COVID patients.
