Juvenile severely injured after being struck by vehicle

A pedestrian was flown to a Nashville hospital with severe injuries after being struck by an SUV on Lafayette Road Friday night. The male juvenile was attempting to dart across Lafayette just north of the Bypass when he was struck by a northbound SUV, according to Hopkinsville Police. Suspect arrested for alleged robbery

A Hopkinsville man was arrested for an alleged robbery Friday morning at Pennyrile Village. An arrest citation for 34-year old Ronnie McKnight alleges he pushed the 52-year old male victim against a wall and took his wallet containing over $400. McKnight is charged with second-degree robbery.

Titans center Jones will not play at Carolina Sunday

Tennessee Titans coach Mike Vrabel said today center Ben Jones will not play Sunday at the Carolina Panthers. Jones has been in concussion protocol this week after suffering an injury last Sunday against Tampa Bay. The Titans look for their third straight win Sunday, with kickoff in Charlotte at noon.

Philadelphia Phillies manager Joe Girardi has added former Cincinnati Reds skipper Bryan Price to his staff, naming him the team's pitching coach. HPD investigates armed robbery on East Seventh Street

Hopkinsville police are investigating an armed robbery from Halloween night on East Seventh Street.
