Four indicted for large theft, burglary

Four suspects have been indicted for their alleged roles in a burglary and theft of $120,000 in cash from a Hickory Smokehouse Road residence in December. The Christian County Grand Jury indicted 46-year old Lauren Wallace and 37-year old Jessica Luttrell and 44-year old Cole Matthew Duncan for third-degree burglary and felony theft. A Christian County Grand Jury has indicted Hopkinsville Police Department Lt. Jefferson Alexander on a perjury charge for testimony given in the case of former Hopkinsville City Councilmember Ann Cherry. HPD: Man sought on warrant had meth hidden in flashlight

A Hopkinsville man sought on a warrant was additionally charged with methamphetamine possession following his arrest Wednesday night. Officers located 40-year old Robert Calvin of Hopkinsville on North Virginia Street and served him with the warrant for bond revocation. On the way to jail, Calvin allegedly admitted he had meth hidden in a flashlight in his pocket. A search of the flashlight revealed a baggie containing a rock of meth.

Christian County defeated Lyon County 50-39 behind 17 points from Trinity McGee and 15 points from Aaliyah Hampton. The Lady Colonels improved to 18-12 on the season with the win.
