A total of six people were arrested on various charges following an investigation into alleged drug activity Wednesday in Hopkins County. The University of Louisville women’s team advanced to the finals of the NCAA Tournament’s Albany Region with a 61-44 win over Oregon State last night. The Cardinals, now 32-3 will face U-Conn in Sunday’s final. The Huskies downed UCLA 69-61 to improve to 34-2 on the season. The teams met during the regular season with Louisville winning 78-69. Sunday’s game will tipoff at 11 am Central time.

Western Kentucky swept Charlotte in a pair of Conference USA game Friday at Nick Denes Field by the scores of 8-4 and 8-5. The teams conclude their three game series Sunday afternoon at noon.
