Pembroke VFD receives grant

The Pembroke Volunteer Fire Department has received grant money to purchase much-needed equipment. According to a post on the department Facebook page, they received an Assistance to Firefighters grant of about $49,000 for vehicle extrication equipment and a gear washer. Marshall County receives additional grants

Marshall County is getting nearly a half-million dollars more in grant money to support victims and families healing from the Marshall County High School shooting. Governor Matt Bevin and the Kentucky Justice and Public Safety Cabinet announced an additional $489,000 in grant funds. New public safety building should be complete Dec. 4

Progress continues on construction of the new Christian County Public Safety Building and it should be complete during the first week of December. The Madisonville-Hopkins County Vice/Narcotics Unit was conducting surveillance in the area of Madisonville about noon and saw 35-year old Christopher Branson driving, despite his license being suspended.
