The Pennyrile Walk to End Alzheimer’s is set to take over downtown Hopkinsville in fall, and to support the walk’s mission, Pennyroyal Hospice is hosting a box lunch fundraiser. Members of the Alzheimer’s Association shared how the disease affects people, updates on more accessible detection methods and treatments and how people can participate in this year’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s at Thursday’s Hopkinsville Kiwanis Club meeting. The Hopkinsville Kiwanis Club highlighted the Pennyrile Walk to End Alzheimer’s on September 23 at their Thursday meeting. Beyond spotlighting the event the club is working toward raising money and spreading awareness of the event.
