Hopkinsville Mayor swears in first responders, crisis response canines

Hopkinsville firefighters and a police officer, along with two crisis response canines were sworn in at Tuesday’s Hopkinsville City Council meeting. From the Hopkinsville Fire Department, Fire Chief Steve Futrell presented the graduates of Recruit Class 26-1: D’Torian Isabella, Austin Stumbaugh, Dalton Horn, Nicholas Sanderson, Reginald White Jr., Jeffery Salsedo and Matthew Ramos. City to join directory platform for small, local businesses

Hopkinsville’s Small Business Commission was established in 2023, and Commission Chair Deanna Sova and City Administrative Coordinator Diane Turner recently appeared on WHOP to highlight the group's mission.  Sova shared that the commission was formed to support small businesses and act as a line of communication between them and city officials.
