Kentucky State Police will lay a wreath Monday morning to remember fallen Trooper Eric Chrisman on the fourth anniversary of his death. The 23-year old Chrisman was killed June 23, 2015 in a motor vehicle accident while responding to a reckless driving complaint on US 62 in Livingston County. Tates Creek doubled up McCracken County 4-2 Sunday to win the KHSAA State Baseball championship. Tates Creek finished the season 35-7 while McCracken County concluded 33-8 in the final game for head coach Geno Miller, who becomes the school’s athletics director July 1st.
The Bowling Green Hot Rods fell 4-0 to the Lansing Lugnuts Friday night at Bowling Green Ballpark. Game three is Saturday evening at 6:35. The Nashville Sounds won for the first time in the series with the Iowa Cubs 2-1 Friday night in Des Moines. Game four of the five game set is Saturday evening.
