Hopkinsville Police arrested 23-year-old Jonathan Rivas-Cruz on New Year’s Eve after he was reportedly driving while under the influence and struck a utility pole causing it to fall. A groundbreaking ceremony was hosted in October 2023 to celebrate the Toyota Boshoku Western Kentucky Facility coming to Hopkinsville, and on Tuesday, that facility had its grand opening.
