The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office recovered a vehicle from the Cumberland River on Friday that contained a deceased woman. Deputies responded to a call from a boater who reportedly saw a van enter the river near Lock B Road South during the early morning hours. Lipstick After Dark member spotlights the program’s work, mission

Lipstick After Dark was established in 2019 to mentor teenage girls, and at Thursday’s Hopkinsville Kiwanis Club meeting, Jacqueline Porchia shared how the program provides guidance to girls as they enter adulthood. The Hopkinsville Fire Department announced two promotions following the recent retirement of Captain Curtis Nightingale. Nightingale retired on December 29 after serving 22 years with the department. Police arrest Hopkinsville man for assault, kidnapping

Hopkinsville Police arrested 33-year-old James Himmelhaver after he reportedly assaulted a woman and prevented her from leaving the scene on Tuesday. According to a report, officers responded to a location on Sivley Road concerning the incident.
