Local woman injured in Boulevard accident

A local woman was injured in a wreck Friday afternoon on Fort Campbell Boulevard.

It happened just after 2 p.m., according to the collision report from Hopkinsville Police Officer Michael Sandbrink, which says 39-year old Keisha James of Hopkinsville was attempting to turn left out of the Maxfuel Express on the south end of the Boulevard and drove into the path of a northbound car driven by 23-year old James Taylor of Cadiz.

James was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.

Taylor was not injured.
