Driver fatigue was a factor in a single-vehicle rollover wreck on the Eagle Way Bypass Thursday afternoon that injured the driver.
According to the Hopkinsville police report, 66-year old Janice Cunningham of Hopkinsville was travelling west on Eagle Way when she says she thinks she fell asleep. The vehicle drifted and hit the guard rail, went up in the air and rolled mid-air before landing on all four wheels in a ditch facing east.
Her vehicle struck a guardrail, causing severe damage. Cunningham was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries. **
