Tony Hawkins is the 2025 Hoptown Idol

Hopkinsville, we’ve got a new idol—after Tony Hawkins took home the grand prize and the bragging rights as the winner of the 2025 Hoptown Idol. 

Hosted by Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation, the competition took over downtown Hopkinsville Friday night, where a crowd got to watch several competitors take to the stage and show off their vocal talents, all in the name of nabbing a $500 prize and two-hours in a local recording studio.

And it was a full audience on hand for the event, with food trucks and activities happening at the same moment—so it was not for the faint of heart to step up to the microphone. 

While everyone showed just how much talent Hopkinsville has, only one could emerge with the victory, and first place went to Tony Hawkins.
