Officers from the Hopkinsville Police responded to a single-vehicle wreck on Friday that resulted in injuries.
According to a report from police, Johnny Scott of Princeton was driving eastbound on East 9th Street when he struck a utility pole on the right side of the road. He reportedly told officers that he lost consciousness while behind the wheel resulting in the wreck.
Scott was transported by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for the treatment of his injuries.
