Severe weather will be possible again this afternoon and evening before things become a little more tranquil in the middle of the week.
Christine Wielgos is the warning coordination meteorologist for the National Weather Service in Paducah and said during a conference call Monday morning that damaging winds and large hail will be the primary threat and the Pennyrile Region will be most likely to see storms in the evening hours.
Tuesday and Wednesday will be rain-free and less humid until thunderstorms return on Thursday.
The long range outlook is showing next week to be cooler and dryer than average.
