A Christian County Grand Jury issued indictments for murder and assault crimes on Friday.
Twenty-year-old De’Quavion Bronaugh of Hopkinsville was indicted for murder, two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment and tampering with physical evidence after he reportedly shot and killed 19-year-old Neveah Gill on June 22.
According to a report from the Hopkinsville Police Department, Gill was among two other individuals who reportedly entered Bronaugh’s apartment and took a firearm from inside. Gill was then shot by Bronaugh while leaving the apartment complex.
The other two individuals who unlawfully entered Bronaugh’s apartment are 18-year-old Dereon Sharp and 18-year-old Jervontae Bussell both of Hopkinsville and they were indicted for first-degree burglary.
Twenty-eight-year-old Avery Bates of Clarksville was indicted for murder after he reportedly shot and killed Jaylin Glenn in Oak Grove on November 23, 2025. Bates was arrested for the shooting in June.
Twenty-five-year-old Robert Torian the III was indicted for first-degree assault after he reportedly shot and injured a man in Oak Grove on November 11, 2024. Torian was arrested for the shooting in June.
