Six injured in Princeton Road collision

More details have been released about a two-vehicle crash on Princeton Road Monday that sent five people to the hospital. 

According to the collision report from the Christian County Sheriff’s Department, a van driven by 78-year-old Lonnie Scott of Dawson Springs was heading southbound on Princeton Road around 5:30 p.m. in the right-hand lane.  At the same moment, a vehicle operated by 51-year-old Catherine Hall of Princeton was traveling southbound behind the van, but in the left-hand lane attempting to pass.

Scott attempted to make a left turn onto Bainbridge Loop, which is when he pulled into the path of Hall, who was unable to avoid a collision.

Hall and four passengers were taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of injuries. Scott and his passenger were not injured.
