It’s almost time for the return of the Kentucky State Fair in Louisville and Kentucky Agriculture Commissioner Jonathan Shell says everyone should make the trek to Louisville at least once to experience the fun.
He says there’s some dates to keep in mind if you were thinking of attending—and he hopes you are—starting with the opening day breakfast in the morning August 20, recognizing Ag. leaders and elected officials from across the commonwealth.
There’s a full slate of events on deck for the state fair and Shell gave a quick rundown of what to expect.
The state fair takes place from August 20 through August 30 and there will be fair rides, Ag. shows, concerts, grandstand events, tons of food and fellowship. Commissioner Shell says at the heart of it all is the spirit of community and agriculture, and it should never be forgotten.
