Brice Long’s sold-out benefit concert raises over $121,000

The Alhambra Theatre in downtown Hopkinsville was filled to the brim on Saturday for Brice Long’s sold-out Back 2 Back Foundation Benefit concert, which helped the nonprofit raise $121,676.

Long is a country singer and songwriter with Hopkinsville roots who currently lives in Nashville, Tennessee. He launched the foundation in 2005 to give back to those in Christian, Todd and Trigg counties by providing families with Christmas gifts. In the nonprofit’s first year, Long says they bought gifts for five families, and since then, the nonprofit has supported many more families and local organizations.

In 2025, the foundation provided gifts for over 100 families. The nonprofit’s impact would not have expanded without the community’s support, and Long says he is not surprised by the generosity of those who call the region home.

Before Long and his friends took to the stage, Pennyroyal Arts Council Executive Director Margaret Prim welcomed concert attendees and shared that it’s not every night that the Alhambra is sold out.

Long was then joined on stage by fellow singers and songwriters Deric Ruttan, Casey James and Tony Arata. Along with playing some country music, the artists shared how some of the songs they composed came to be.

After Saturday’s concert, the Back 2 Back Foundation has now raised over $1.3 million since its launch. More information about the foundation is available at back2backfoundation.org.
