Execution of a search warrant at a residence on Cherry Street in Hopkinsville led to a man facing several drug trafficking charges, after roughly 200 grams of methamphetamine was located.
According to the Hopkinsville Police Department, the search warrant was conducted in the 1300 block of Cherry—the search reportedly revealed 212 grams of meth, 58 grams of cocaine, seven grams of powder cocaine, four and a half pounds of synthetic marijuana, 52 grams of marijuana and 63 unidentified pills. Police also allegedly found a rifle and several rounds of ammunition, along with approximately $1,000 cash.
An individual in the residence, 52-year-old Larry Penman of Hopkinsville, was taken into custody and charged with trafficking in meth, trafficking in cocaine, trafficking in synthetic drugs, trafficking in marijuana, trafficking in a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
