Police arrest Lafayette man for theft, drug trafficking

Hopkinsville Police arrested 49-year-old Jason James of Lafayette on Wednesday after he reportedly shoplifted from Rural King and was in possession of methamphetamine. Officers arrived at Rural King on Fort Campbell Boulevard for reports of a shoplifter. Former Hopkinsville High School pitcher Easton McGee made an appearance Wednesday night for the Milwaukee Brewers in a 3-2 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks. Henderson County broke a two-game losing streak and defeated visiting Hopkinsville 5-2 on Wednesday night in a boys’ high school soccer game. Hoptown’s Bradley Jr. named Player of the Week

This week’s Jennie Stuart Orthopedics-Michael Venable State Farm Player of the Week is Hopkinsville High School senior football player James Bradley Jr. The Tigers’ quarterback rushed 24 times for 195 yards and three touchdowns and threw for 126 yards and two touchdowns in Hopkinsville’s 49-13 win over Nashville Stratford last Friday night. Hopkinsville Police arrested 39-year-old Jeffrey Henderson after he reportedly pushed a victim off their bicycle and assaulted them on Tuesday.
