Heat Advisory in effect for Thursday

It’s hot—hot enough that the National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a heat advisory for the entire region, including Christian, Todd and Trigg counties, until this evening.

Peak heat index values could touch 110 degrees in some places, so limit your time outdoors and make sure you stay hydrated. After a brief break in the heat on Friday, Saturday will mark the start of a major heatwave that will linger into next week.
