Portion of I-69 in Madisonville to have lane restrictions during roadwork

Traffic on a portion of Interstate 69 in Madisonville has been restricted to one lane while Kentucky Transportation Cabinet crews work along the median. Police arrest Hopkinsville man for strangulation, fleeing

Hopkinsville Police arrested 30-year-old Elijah Boodoosingh after he allegedly assaulted a victim and fled from police on Thursday. Officers made contact with Boodoosingh at his residence on West Second Street. He reportedly told officers that that everything was okay, but they noticed a person behind him sitting on a couch. Hopkinsville Police arrested 44-year-old Roman Abate of Oak grove after he reportedly stole from a victim and attempted to enter another victim’s house on Friday.
