Two-vehicle wreck on North Drive results in injuries

A two-vehicle wreck at the intersection North Drive and Richard Street resulted in injuries on Monday.

According to a report, a car operated by Craig Jackson of Hopkinsville was traveling north on North Drive and as he was passing through the Richard Street intersection, Veronica Valencia of Oak Grove reportedly pulled out in front of him resulting in the collision.

Jackson collided with the driver’s side of Valencia’s car. In the report, Valencia is cited for inattention and disregarding a traffic control.

Valencia and two minor passengers in her car were transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for their injuries.
