Milling and paving work to continue next week on U.S. 68 in Trigg County

After delays due to weather and mechanical issues, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will continue paving along U.S. 68-Canton Road in Trigg County next week.

According to a news release, a crew has been milling and paving in section along U.S. 68 from the Eggners Ferry Bridge heading towards the U.S. 68-KY 80 Cumberland River/Lake Barkley Bridge.

Work will pause through the holiday weekend, before resuming on Tuesday. After facing delays, the project is now expected to be completed by the end of June.

Motorists should be alert for signage and flaggers directing traffic to shift into the open lane in the work zone.
