State police arrest Oak Grove city worker for tampering with records

Kentucky State Police arrested Oak Grove City Payroll Clerk, 38-year-old Hailey Bamford of Fort Campbell, on Monday for tampering with public records.

According to a report, KSP received information concerning Bamford’s actions which led to an investigation. They found that she had falsified or altered her time sheets on multiple occasions since May 2022. By tampering with time records, Bamford reportedly received a minimum of an additional $6,208.75 between May 2022 and October 2023.

Bamford was charged with abuse of public trust less than $10,000 and 14 counts of tampering with public records.
