Teen injured in Clarksville shooting

Dawson Springs won its fifth straight boys’ high school basketball game with a 93-62 win over visiting Heritage Christian Academy on Saturday. Jason Leek scored 41 points and grabbed 14 rebounds, but the Panthers were in control for most of the game. HCA bowlers compete at Region 1 tournament

Heritage Christian Academy’s bowling team completed its second season by competing in the KHSAA Region 1 Bowling Tournament at Cardinal Lanes in Paducah. In girls’ singles, two HCA bowlers nearly earned top-10 finishes. Braelyn Windle and her sister Alayna Windle rolled 469 and 465 series to finish 14th and 15th, respectively. Legislation has been introduced in this year’s session of the Kentucky General Assembly that would pave the way for the development of a School of Veterinary Medicine at Murray State University.
