Annual Turkey Trot brings large crowd to downtown Hopkinsville

Despite some cold temperatures, runners, walkers and bicycle riders crowded downtown Hopkinsville for Parks and Recreation’s 23rd annual Turkey Trot. State selects first round of medical cannabis dispensary license recipients

The Office of Medical Cannabis announced their first round of selectees to receive medical cannabis dispensary licenses on Monday. The selection process took place at the Kentucky Lottery Corporation in Louisville and 36 applicants were selected. In the Pennyrile region, Mallard Club LLC in Oak Grove along with ARKY Capital Investments LLC, River City Relief House LLC and DPDMJF Cannabis Holding Company LLC all in Eddyville were drawn for licenses. City of Hopkinsville to honor William Falls with bridge dedication

To honor the late William Falls, the City of Hopkinsville is inviting the community to a bridge dedication ceremony. Falls was the head basketball coach at Attucks High School from 1935 to 1967. Under his leadership, the Attucks Basketball team had over 500 wins.
