HPD investigating Boxwood stabbing

A woman was flown to Nashville hospital following a stabbing incident on Boxwood Drive on Thanksgiving Day.

The 36-year-old female victim was stabbed in the back with a knife during some type of dispute at a residence in the 100 block of Boxwood Drive at around 4:15 p.m. Hopkinsville Fire and EMS Captain Payton Rogers says the victim was flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for treatment of a single stab wound to the back, after receiving treatment on scene.

Hopkinsville police are investigating and no suspect has yet been taken into custody.
