Collision in downtown Hopkinsville results in possible injuries

A two-vehicle collision at the intersection of East 9^th Street and South Virginia Street resulted in possible injuries on Wednesday.

According to a report from the Hopkinsville Police Department, a truck driven by Jerry Obryan of Pembroke was towing a trailer westbound on East 9^th Street while Tara Battle of Hopkinsville was traveling northbound on South Virginia Street.

The pair collided in the intersection and both drivers claimed to have had the green light, but it was later determined that Battle had the green light.

Obryan was reportedly transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for possible injuries.
