The Hopkinsville High School and University Heights Academy boys’ golf teams competed Tuesday in the Marshall County Invitational. Wade Foster led Hopkinsville with a 79 and Ryan Martin carded an 84. Biden approves Ky. Disaster Declaration

President Joe Biden has approved a Kentucky Disaster Declaration, paving the way for federal assistance funding to help communities that were impacted by severe storms at the end of May.  According to a release from FEMA, the counties included in the declaration are Butler, Caldwell, Calloway, Christian, Clay, Greenup, Hopkins, Knox, Logan, Muhlenberg, Simpson, Todd, Trigg, Warren, and Whitley. A day after taking third place in the Daviess County Invitational, University Heights Academy senior golfer Conlee Lindsey took home individual medalist honors Tuesday at the Marshall County Invitational.
