Hopkinsville police have charged a Hopkinsville man with felony theft following investigation into a theft that occurred on Lafayette Road in June.
According to the police report, investigation began when the victim reported that seven fishing poles were stolen out of the back of his truck on June 30 and the Hucks gas station on Lafayette Road. Using video surveillance footage, officers were able to identify the suspect as 48-year-old Arby Kimble.
Kimble can allegedly be seen on camera taking the poles from the bed of the victim’s truck, making his way back to his own vehicle and then leaving the scene.
Kimble is charged with felony theft by unlawful taking.
