Hopkinsville man hurt in Pembroke Road crash

A Hopkinsville man was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center following a single-vehicle wreck on Pembroke Road Wednesday.

According to the Hopkinsville police report, 19-year-old Seth Brown of Hopkinsville was heading east in the 3300 block of Pembroke Road when he began to slow down to turn into a driveway.  Due to water in the road from recent heavy rains, the vehicle slid off the roadway and into a ditch.

The collision caused a tire to come off of the vehicle. Brown was transported to Jennie Stuart for treatment of injuries.
