One flown to Nashville hospital following Greenville Road crash

A woman was flown to a Nashville hospital following a single-vehicle crash on Greenville Road early Tuesday morning.

It happened around 6:45 a.m. in the 3900 block of Greenville Road, and Hopkinsville Fire Department and EMS Captain Payton Rogers tells WHOP News says the vehicle was located off the roadway and in a tree line. The driver of the vehicle, identified as the Christian County Sheriff’s Department as 29-year-old Amber Moore of Hopkinsville, told officers she had struck a deer, which caused her to run off the roadway.

It’s unknown how long the female victim was there before being able to call for aid, but she believes she was knocked unconscious for several hours.

Moore was flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for treatment of multiple traumatic injuries.
