KY 2270 in Muhlenberg County set to reopen after landslide

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announced that KY 2270 in Muhlenberg County is set to reopen by May 3 after a portion of the roadway was closed because of a landslide that occurred in March.

On March 12 a landslide occurred between the 5.6 and 5.7-mile markers on KY 2270 which resulted in an emergency closure of the roadway.

The roadway is set to undergo repaving and ditching and shoulder work with the goal of reopening the roadway by Friday, May 3.
