Officers from the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office and the Madisonville Police Department arrested 63-year-old Kenneth “Mark” Casey in relation to a stalking investigation on Friday.
According to a report from the Sheriff’s Office, law enforcement executed a search warrant at a residence on Princeton Road with the purpose of gathering evidence on an active stalking case. Law enforcement reportedly believed that Casey, who was resident, had been stalking and terrorizing an adult female victim for several months through internet-based communication and physical correspondence.
Based on the evidence found at the residence, an arrest warrant was issued against Casey. Police arrested Casey and charged him with five counts of first-degree stalking which is a Class D felony.
