Madisonville Police request public aid locating robbery suspect

The Madisonville Police Department is investigating after an armed robbery occurred at Pappy’s Convenience Store on Sunday and is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect.

According to police, security footage in the store captured a Black male wearing all black clothing entering the store and pointing a semi-automatic handgun at employees and demanding money.

After demanding money, the suspect reportedly left the scene in a dark blue or black SUV. The police and Hopkins County Crime Stopper are requesting help from the public in identifying the suspect or the vehicle involved.
