Deputies from the Christian County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant on Friday that resulted in the arrest of 43-year-old Krista Ashby for drug trafficking and the possession of drug paraphernalia.
In a news release from the Sheriff’s Office, they shared that the Office’s Anti-Crime Unit served a search warrant after an ongoing drug investigation. The search warrant was for a residence located in the 1000 block of East 7th Street.
At the residence deputies detained several individuals and reportedly found drug paraphernalia and illegal narcotics including around 24 grams of methamphetamine, five grams of fentanyl and marijuana.
Ashby was arrested in connection to the search and was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, trafficking in fentanyl, trafficking in marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
