An individual was shot on North Main Street in Hopkinsville Tuesday night and the Hopkinsville Police Department is investigating.
According to Hopkinsville Public Information Officer Collette Marfil, who says investigation determined the shooting occurred at the Manhattan Motel on North Main Street around 6 p.m.
The male victim, who has been identified as Larry Penman, went to Jennie Stuart Medical Center where he was then flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He is currently considered in stable condition.
No suspects have yet been identified and the investigation continues.
