Local police investigate Florence Street burglary

The Hopkinsville Police Department is investigating after a suspect forced their entry into a home on Florence Street and stole multiple personal items on Tuesday.

According to a report from police nearly $1,360 worth of belongings was taken from the home which includes a television, a recycling receptacle, a firearm and other weapons.  

The report does not identify any suspects and the police are investigating the incident as first-degree burglary.
