The Clarksville Police Department is investigating a vehicle versus pedestrian collision on Providence Boulevard from Thursday afternoon.  According to a news release, it happened around 4:40 p.m. near Peachers Mill Road when a vehicle traveling south on Providence struck a female pedestrian as she was attempting to cross the road. The Hopkinsville Police Department partnered with the Division of Probation and Parole to conduct a sweep of the community and arrest people with active warrants.  According to a news release, the intensive operation took place Wednesday and 24 arrest warrants were served, which including some violent offenses, such as first-degree robbery.
