High School Football Preview: Hopkinsville @ Warren East

Tonight, The Hopkinsville Tigers are on the road for the second straight week as they travel to Bowling Green to take on The Warren East Raiders in a 4A 1st District matchup. The Tigers are 0 and 5 on the season and o and 1 in district play after last weeks 44 to 14 lost to Paducah Tilghman. The Raiders are 3 and 2 and 1 and 0 in the district after beating Calloway Co. last week 51 to 20.

This will be the 7th meeting between Hopkinsville and Warren East with The Tigers leading the season 5 to 1. The lone win during the series for The Raiders was in 2013 in overtime 33 to 27. The Tigers have won the last 4 meetings. The Tigers hope to have starting QB Aiden King back in the line-up after missing the last 2 and a half ballgames due to injury.
